I am looking to create a list of suppliers and repairers that srvice the old bike trade. I have a long term view to inviting them to attend a race meeting with The HMRAV to drum up business for them selves and make the meeting interesting for the competitors and spectators. Like a trade show but not involving shops, lets call it a Niche Suppliers Exhibition until somebody comes up with a better name. Can you put up any details of people who fix magnetos, make tanks, mudguards, pin striping etc. thanks

| John, a few years ago, I started setting up a Microsoft Access database of suppliers of parts and services for historic motorcycles. It would be very useful if someone could set one up on a web site. If it was searchable, it would help a lot. Perhaps we could make it a bulletin board type set up, on which people could list themselves, their services and their email address and phone no. We'd need a good moderator. If you know someone with a server who is willing to give us space, I can help with Access. |

Alan,
If you supply me with the Access database, I can create the pages for viewing, and also the pages for adding with permissions on them.

found your address on the internet, and thought you may be interested in the exhaust systems that I make. I do all of the original exhaust systems for the 70's models British Bikes, including all of the Triples. I also make three into ones for the Triples and two into ones for the Bonnie and Commando twins. I have attached some files outlining the models that I make. They also contain a bit about myself, and how I go about making my pipes. I have a T160 which I have had for over 24 years now, I personally am deep into the Triples. Have a look in the Gallery at www. <removed> .com for some photo's and information on my 1000 cc engine and bike. If I can be of any service to you regarding pipes please feel free to contact me. Regards Paul.
