I was there although not riding a classic bike.I would venture to suggest that the club secretary was too busy to empty his/her bowels let alone compile a report in a day or so.There was a fair few classic/posty entries, but nothing fantastic. It was a great weekend weather wise and I am sure someone who was not as bust with bikes as myself could give a better report.Hopefully now the Mt Gambier club is on the way to recovery,we need to keep Australias last club owned track going. For all those who care the track surface is greatly smoother and I think will improve with more use/rubber down on the turns.

FYI Winton is also a 'club owned track'! It's owned by Benalla Auto Club/Winton Motorcycle Club.

OK last Motorcycle Club owned track.Maybe instead of giving them a rasberry the secretary could be asked politely if he/she would like to provide results or info on a regular basis?

Nev,

We have not given them the Rasberry yet! We have asked nicely on numerous occasions, only to have no reply and no results.

The times we did get results, we had to ask every day until we got them, then it was an effort to supply them. We at You must be logged in to see this link. have offered incentives, only for them not to take us up on the offers. And in return, all we wanted was the results of the race meetings and times.

I could even create a page that is database driven, and they could enter the data via a special password page and the results would show, but no, that would be to hard for them.

So if a club wants to supply the results, either in a text file or a document, as long as it is electronic, I will put them up. Simple, yet a free service..

I do not know what has happened in the past re Mac Park results,(not a member of Mt Gambier),it just seemed a little harsh to me to infer the sec was "too bloody lazy".I think I have said/responded enough,I have no wish to argue with any-one.

OK, we have the ammended results as supplied Sunday 27th April 2003 from Phil McGee (Race Secretary -Mt. Gambier Motorcycle & Light Car Club Inc.) after some comments from users that the originals where incorrect.

The new results are here: You must be logged in to see this link.

Thanks for the update Phil.

We also have the Easter 2003 points results there as well.
