Hi All
Got a small complaint!! got a flyer today for the AHRMA meeting about the race format, reminding us to put your entries in & hurry (entries could be down) & waving a carrot around that there is "Prize Money" for the "Premier 500 class & 350 GP Class" ONLY!!
With the 500s getting money for the 1st 10 place getters!! I've got no problems with the prize money but don't all entrants pay the same amount of money?? so wouldn't it be fair if all classes should have the same opportunity!! not every one has a so called Premier 500 class bike or a GP 350 class bike!! it seems to me every one who doesn't fit into the above classes are paying for these two classes prize money!! I personnaly don't like racing for prize money (brings in do or die at all cost situation) but when again my bike doesn't fit in the classes being offered the carrot!! there are more classes on the week-end than just the 2 above, Period 4 & 5 have not been getting a fare go for years & over the years the entries at races have been down as every one knows, they want your money to make the meeting viable but!! if you don't fit into the 350 or 500 so called premier classes you get half the amount of racers let alone money!! not all spectators go to watch just the 2 classes over the week-end, If promoters want more enties!! every one should get the same amount of racers for the same amount money!! I'm heading down anyway it just annoyed me "again" in the fair go apartment.
See you there Steve
