Just noticed on the formula extreme web site that both 2 & 4 stroke P4 & 5 bikes have had classes allocated for them at all Formula Extreme races. Now thats exposure.

It's probably about time P6 was clearly defined in the MA rule book. I note that P6 has been run at the interclub, and I don't know what era it covers.
I suggest it is important to keep the 'old' racers such as TZ250, RS250, RS125, TZ500, And H1R, H2R, TR500, TR250, RG500 going, by providing races for them until they become eligible for a historic period. Perhaps P6 could be developed to cater for any true (or production) racing machines up to ten years old.
It has got to the stage where it is difficult to find production racers from past days, in any condition. These bikes - like manxes and matchlesses and AJSs will be very valuable in the future, and it would be good to preserve them for posterity.

Is your machine authentic or merely eligible?
