Hello,
I had received this e-mail asking a question about pre World War 1 motorcycle racing. Can anyone help out?

G'day! I have a 1912 Triumph 3 1/2 hp (500cc) TT Racer. I built it to have a bit of fun in Historic Racing but got crook before I had a chance to race it. On April 24, 1911 the Victorian Motorcycle Club (?) held a 100 mile Road Race. Triumphs like mine took the first five places. Do you know anything about the Victorian Motorcycle Club? Are any records of the club extant? What of the aforementioned race. Like where was it held ? Are there any details left? Does anybody care?? I would just find it interesting to have any contact with racing in Oz before WW1. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ian.
