As personal and Club sponsorship is an important part of PCRA NSW and our members, I would suggest that YOU could post information under this folder to promote YOUR or your CLUB's SPONSOR(s) to readers. I would suggest to state the sponsor's business name, your contact, phone/fax email, the sponsored person's and bike's details, the date sponsorship started, followed by information on what the sponsor sells / does/ manufactures etc... be as detailed as you like ... and ask callers/ buyers to quote your name as a sender. If your sponsor hears that he's getting business because of your sponsorship deal/ discounts, he may renew the deal next year, making your racing more affordable. Cheers , Zoltan

When we started this site we stated that it is non-profit and no commerical advertising on the forum, this is because if adverts are run we have no control on them, and we as Classic/Post Classic types "dont" worry about sponsors. We feel there is no need for commericals on this forum, but you may find that when our sister forum gets running at You must be logged in to see this link. you may be able to run personal commericals on it!! Ok the one commerical link is to my bussiness site but thats a gift for me on starting this web with David and Alan

Hello,

Allan is right. I do NOT permit any commercial advertising on this web site with out an exemption. I wish to keep it clean of any form of advertising. As Allan, Alan and myself run the site, we have the final say on what is deemed as inappropriate advertising, and the mention of a multi national in my view is inappropriate for this web site.

I allow Allan to advertise his own business venture as he has that right. There will be no further commercial advertising on this site unless written permission has been given by You must be logged in to see this link. (www.classicmotorcycling.com). All posts containing commercial advertising will be edited and have such advertising censored.

Regards,

I agree that we shouldn't use You must be logged in to see this link. for commercial purposes. It was initially set up for the promotion and advancement of our sport. I really support using You must be logged in to see this link. for advertising. I suggest there should be a link from each site to the other. The sponsorship angle is extremely important.

oh oh - obviously touched a raw nerve there... like going to the dentist isn't it ? Fair enough, it's obviously your website. You guys must have more money than us bludgers here in NSW as I know quite a few people incl me who couldn't race without sponsorship. As in fact our entry fees would be higher were it not for club sponsors. Anyway.

Not so much a 'raw nerve', Zoli. The sponsorship thing is obviously something we should cater for. It's just something David, Allan and I discussed at the outset. It's simple to link from this site to a commercial based site, and David seems interested in using You must be logged in to see this link. for different purpose to You must be logged in to see this link. Please keep sending your ideas and requests they always interest us.
