Not bad surroundings, nice decor. Not bad speed on the reload

Who fancies themselves as a winnier of the 2 & 4 stroke Am class - Fetes Vos Jours, Messeurs et Madames

My money is on me - ha, ha.....

Did anyone get the Team Mad Dog newsletter, by there were a lot of bounced addreses

Well - look forward to holding court here, Mutants

G'day Michael, and other bucket racers. Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry I'm not big on bucket racing ,myself. However I saw the ultimate bucket at Winton last October. It was an early nineties RS125 Honda with an early aircooled CR125 motor fitted. What a BLO*DY NICE BIKE.

Hi Micaldo,

Yes, I rcvd your newsletter, and a very good read it was too.

I reckon you'll go close to winning the Am's 2 stroke titile this year... if you don't get promoted to the pro's first ;-)

As for me, well i'll be happily circulating a little quickly than last year with my new highly modified twin... that's all i can tell you right now :-)

Cheers

hey mick! yep i recieved your newsletter ,always well worth a read ,i got the job down in sydney ,start in march so now can get treated like a traitor by the newcastle guys and a forign invader by the syd fellahs ,cant wait!also noted the post by the forum moderator about ripping off other users ,let it be known that bucket riders take great pride in the sledging abilities and will use all means to out psyche the competition ,regardless of wether they race in the same class ,let the codswallop begin

What are the capacity limits for buckets? I notice H100 Hondas and KH100 Kawasakis are all the go in Vic, but I seem to remember seeing slightly bigger four strokes in some races. Perhaps we could run a Heritage/Historic Ultralightweight TT using buckets, I suppose a lot of them would be Period 5?

Good to see you all here!!!

What about another Eastern Crek ride day sometime in March to set up for round 1

Ernie - when is the first 250 meet / have you found digs yet?

And BTW congrats - look forward to high quality machining facilities!!!!

The capacity limits are 105cc for two strokes and 150cc for four strokes

I have no doubt that the victorian bucketeers would be keen for extra rides

Most bikes around are circa 1980 - whatever period that is!!

Can a Morowaki 80 run in Bucket Races? Seems a bit silly if there are separate classes.

Three classes 100cc 2 stroke, 125 4 stroke some states and 150 4 stroke other states read rule book buckets must be approved, bucket mob nsw have all the rules, No water cooled or race bike parts. frames and motors nust be of approved types and can be mixed,Al if you had comp licence you could look up rule book!! even your 1 event wont let you do this! so will 3 event one get you a rule book. "just pay" the reduced fee and race? your bloody bike and don't complain that you car't affort to ride anymore

Bucket rules are not in the MA rule book - but they will be on a Bucket Race Association site coming soon to the net

The rules do allow parts from competition bikes now - have a look at You must be logged in to see this link. for more information

Tell me it's a typo please!!

Just looked at Pomstars website and found out the 1st round of the BRA season has been brought forward to Sunday 30th March at Eastern Creek!

You've got to be kidding haven't ya?

I've just booked 2 x $xxx Corporate tickets for the WSBs at PI because we weren't supposed to be racing till April. Tell me this is a joke please!
